1st birthday

My baby is one year old. (Well, he's 14 months old as of this writing, but who's counting?).

I can hardly believe how fast the last year went yet I am grateful because I generally prefer toddlerhood over babyhood ;-) We may not be getting more sleep yet, but once these molars are in I have high hopes!

We had a joint party with Dyl's BFF KJ. It was a small party with lots of food and our closest friends. Dylan had a wonderful time!

Happy Birthday, my sweet boy!  You add much joy and excitement to our days.  Love you!

Dylan's First Birthday!

Dylan's first birthday did not exactly go as planned (Kraig was injured on his bike...) so we made the cake a little later than anticipated.  That said, enjoy these poorly lit photos of my screaming, tired baby enjoying his first birthday cake!  It was delicious- a gluten free coconut lime cake.  Seriously, it was so good.

Thanksgiving with friends

We had such a great Thanksgiving celebration this year.  Our friends Katie, Paddy, and KJ spent two nights at our neighbors (empty) house and we got to hang out, cook together, watch movies, and eat ALL THE FOODS.  It was so much fun.  We watched the Macy's Parade, went to a 90 minute Zumba class on T-giving morning (holy cow, what a crazy awesome workout) and cooked and ate all the live long day.

YUM.

First time at the theatre

My mom and Dave came to visit and in between eating lots of delicious food we got tickets to a play!  We saw Duck for President and it was hilarious and awesome.  Owen loved it.  Even Dylan was zoned into the musical the entire show (~1 hour).  We'll definitely be taking the boys to more Oregon Children's Theater shows!

There was a voting booth set up for the kids.  I just want to mention that we did not tell him where to put his voting chip ;-)

The end results for all 3 shows that day had Jill Stein ahead of Romney with Obama winning by a landslide.
