New hippie spot

There's a new cafe in town. They serve lots of vegan food, so naturally we had to try it out. It's, like, SUPER hippy. New age crystal-selling tincture-sipping patchouli-burnin' moon-dancing hippies.

Homegirl makes a mean brunch, though.

Kraig was riding his bike home from Whole Foods (insert food snob joke here) and was involved in an unfortunate accident. Luckily, only he was involved and his bike was fixed up for free by his local hipster bike-shop. But he had to visit urgent care and wear this fancy brace for a few weeks.

I think it was all an elaborate plan to get out of doing dishes.

Fun hair and a delicious cake

I made this amazing lemon raspberry cake for a neighbor's birthday party.  It was one of the first times that I was proud of my decorating.  

My hair is finally long enough to do some more fancy styling.  I did this quick little roll for the birthday party.
