In early July, Kraig's wonderful friend Jason approached me about coordinating a college roommate meet up in D.C.
I was only a little hesitant to have to parent alone for a weekend. My fears were trumped by the fact that Kraig has worked his butt off since April and is the most amazing, successful business manager I've had the pleasure of knowing. He absolutely deserved a little vacation. I was more than excited to help him do it.
Oh, and it had to be a surprise.
Yes, I sent my husband on a surprise vacation across the country. He had no idea what was going on.
He didn't take a camera on the trip, but here are a few photos that Jason so graciously posted to Facebook.
He had such a great time, and we are so thankful to Jason and Geoff for all they did to make it happen.
