My Birthday

 I had a very exciting birthday this year.  I woke up to an email from our top choice for O's preschool letting us know that he was accepted!  Then, after having interviewed once at the local midwifery college I had a second interview on my birthday and was offered the position.

I made my own cake (which I love doing).  It was a blueberry lemon cake with mascarpone.  Divine.

We had a neighborhood party, of course, and D2 made spanish coffees for everyone.  Check it!

This wasn't on my birthday, but the weekend after- my good friend Heather took me to get a shellac mani (OBSESSED) and drinks!

Being 28 isn't so bad after all.
