After a year of wonderful firsts here in Portland, the Polish Festival was finally the first "second time" we've done something. "Na zdrowie" (cheers) to many more years of attending this festival. It's really a great one, and we love that it's always near Kraig's birthday.
(From our time there last year. Oh my gosh, you guys- Owen was wearing the exact same outfit last year as this year. How hilarious is that.... He's been wearing the same size for over a year. Something tells me he's grown up and thinned out, but you can check the photos for yourself.)
Donna and Gordon joined us for the evening, but according to our camera only two of the 5 of us were there... Oops!
The entertainment for the kids this year was MUCH better than last year- two bounce houses, a snack tent, face painting, chalk.... Great job, festival planners!
We also sampled some noms that we missed last year- the pastry!
Owen was in cookie heaven. I'm not ready to admit how many he ate...
The icing on the cake was a police car outside the entrance- Gordon was wonderful enough to bring Owen over and get him a special sticker from the officer. He's been wearing it ever since... Thanks, Papa G!
We had a lot of fun and can't wait for next year's festival.
