Dylan's cord stump fell off at one week, which was surprising to us since Owen's fell off at.... FOUR weeks. Yes, really.
We were so excited to give him his very first bath! Like, literally, very first as in no bath AT ALL anywhere, ever, not even a sponge bath. We didn't bathe him after the birth because a) it's totally unnecessary and just serves to lower their body temperature and b) he was uh, born in the water so he was pretty "clean". Not that they aren't clean anyway and washing off all that nice vernix just irritates their skin, but you know, he didn't have vernix so, blah blah anyway. THIS was his very first cleaning. We were pumped.
He loved it!
Owen needed a bath and since we were already in there....
