End of 2010

We're nearing the end of the year (how did that happen?).  What an amazing year it was!   As Christmas nears and consequently New Year's as well, I wanted to take some time to remember all the wonderful things that happened in 2010.  We have a lot to be thankful for, so I'm going to record it here for good measure.

Owen was baptized.

Our baby turned ONE!

I started working from home.

We visited a real live, sustainable farm (seriously, one of the highlights of our time in Cleveland)

Owen was hospitalized and got to ride in an ambulance (fortunately in a non-emergency situation)

We moved from Cleveland, Ohio to Portland, OR and took a lovely 7-day road trip along the way.
(day 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)

Kraig turned 26

We celebrated three years of wedded bliss!

Owen trick-or-treated for the first time.

We hosted our first visitors

And celebrated a special Thanksgiving in Seattle, which was also our first time in Washington.

We watched the PDX Christmas tree lighting and lived to tell about it!

We hosted our Third Annual Cookie Exchange with some of our wonderful friends.

Oh, and we bought a new camera.  Totally noteworthy.

Owen started using his potty (don't worry, a whole post is coming on that topic).

Kraig is preparing for his interview for a promotion.  (The interview is in a couple of weeks, so technically not in 2010 but we're excited nonetheless!)

We found a church and started making some new friends.

We've been blessed with neighbors who love us and our child so very much, and who are so generous with their time, talents, and belongings.  We are truly extra thankful for their presence in our lives.

I'm sure there are things I've forgotten, but what a year it's been!  We're thankful beyond measure for all the goodness in 2010.  I think it's a year we'll never forget, and we're excited to see what happens in 2011.  Starting out the year living in our favorite city can't be a bad thing :)
