Baby Buesch

... and I'm not talking about Owen!

If you follow us on FB or Twitter, you're likely already aware that there is a wee baby Buesch baking in the proverbial oven.

Let me just say, it was tough to keep this paunch, I mean pregnancy, a secret!

I've basically looked this size for about... um... 2 months.  I'm only 3 months pregnant, folks! 

 This photo was taken at the 3 month mark, though I'm assuming there will be a second trimester POP any day now.  Weee!

*No, we are not having twins, but asking me that is a great way to get kicked in the knee make me feel like a blimp!


That's right folks, we had an ultrasound confirming only one little babe with one super strong heartbeat at almost 7 weeks gestation.  (And so begins the pregnancy jargon with words like "gestation" and "placenta".  I'll understand if you need to stop reading.)

We've also had our first midwife appointment.  Details about all of this (and more) will be posted very soon.  I've kept a sort of journal through the past 8 weeks and will be publishing those posts throughout the weekend.  Read 'em if you'd like, but mostly they are for memory's sake for Kraig and I (and someday, for Baby Tiny to read if s/he wants).  We intend for this to be our last pregnancy, so I wanted to be sure to document it well.

Thanks to everyone who has supported us so far during this pregnancy.  We feel very celebrated and loved!
