We followed suit and did the same thing we did last Easter- went to Donna and Gordon's church, and Owen participated in the Easter egg hunt. We like attending church with them (we have only done this on Easter, though) and we think they really enjoy having us.
Owen was very well-mannered during the service, and it is funny to think about how he acted during last year's service. Note: he was equally as well-behaved last year, but a little less verbal, etc, as he was much younger. Well, a year younger, as it turns out ;-) What a difference a year makes! This year he was singing during each song, talking about the egg hunt, and went up to the front to put some flowers on the cross.
He was way more into the egg hunt this year since he knows what to do. Well, sort of. He would open the eggs and put his loot in the bag, then leave the empty eggs. We urged him to throw the eggs in the bag so as to save time, but to each his own!
