Our boy is THREE!
Gosh, he looks like such a little man here. I can't believe how big he is!
Owen's birthday eve was a fun-filled night with Kraig's friend Geoff and his girlfriend Lindsay. They were in town from Washington D.C. and came to our house to help celebrate! We had an impromptu dance party, and G & L gave Owen a very special little cupcake!
The morning of his birthday we cut right to opening presents.
We skipped naptime in order to have one last meal with Geoff and Lindsay at Paradox. Owen got to pick his lunch, so of course he got a waffle!
After lunch he was clearly due for a nap so we went straight home for some much-needed rest.
I'm sure this will surprise no one, but we also went out for dinner. Special occasions are best celebrated with food, right?
Owen picked Hungry Tiger Too- a dive bar with an awesome vegan menu.
He got to pick this meal as well, so he opted for vegan mac&cheese, a vegan corn dog, and french fries. Don't worry- the next few days were very veggie-heavy to make up for all the junk food!
Our friends Cacye and Topher joined us for dinner, and brought a special birthday gift for Owen.
