So, our birth center sent us a letter asking us to be in a special promotional video. They are going to have it on their website, and it will also be sent to the participating families as a "keepsake". We loved our birth experience and midwives, so we were more than happy to participate.
We scheduled our filming time and showed up all ready to go- makeup done, hair styled, dressed nicely. What we didn't realize was there was a professional makeup/hair artist there. Wow! So she touched us up then set us up in front of lights and microphones and backdrops and such. Craziness. We were one of only eight families, which was such an honor.
We shared our story- why we chose Alma, why we loved our experience, what the birth was like. It was wonderful. It was extra special for us because we were filming in the room where Dylan was born. Love!
We haven't received the video yet, but once it's finished and we have a copy we'll be sure to share.
