I update the blog design to be more in tune with the seasons. That, and I love rearranging and redecorating. Anyway, I also wanted to rename it for a few different reasons. I will get to all of those in a second but first I just want to get this out of the way, since I'll bet a few of you are wondering: We are NOT pregnant. Not even close. Not even trying. Not even thinking about trying. I repeat- we have ONE child and will be keeping it that way for a while (maybe even forever! But that's another post for another day.)
Anyway, in case there are still a few of you that don't believe me (seriously?).. here is why I updated the name. (If you do believe me, you can stop reading now.)
We were reading this new book that we picked up from the library called "My Beak, Your Beak". It's a cute, simple little book about the similarities and differences between some animals. The last comparison is between bush babies and bats. Bush babies sleep in trees, and bats in caves, but they are both wide awake at night. Anyway... I'd never seen "bush babies" in a book before. I had only heard them mentioned by friends and family in reference to our own bush/Buesch baby. Needless to say, I thought it was cute- and fitting since, um, we Buesch babies do tend to have sleep issues at night. Ahem.
Like I said, I had also heard people call Owen a bush/Buesch baby. I also wanted the blog to be able to grow with our family, IF or WHEN we choose for that to happen. Thus, Bueschs Three is out and Buesch Babies is in. But for now it's still just us three...
