It was our neighbor's so naturally we had a neighborhood potluck and I was commissioned to bake a cake- carrot cake, to be specific. In fact, I was voted to always be in charge of dessert at our potlucks. I've no issue with that, since I love to bake! I had never made a carrot cake from scratch but I was very pleased with how it turned out. So was Owen:
He appreciated the cake so much that he helped with dishes after! What a sweet little helper.
We had a lot of fun eating, drinking, and making merry for our neighbor's birthday. We've grown quite fond of ALL of our neighbors, and it's wonderful to spend time with them so regularly. Owen loves the gatherings as well, and has been practicing all of their names. So sweet!
