Our hotel

We had heard great things about our hotel (after making the reservation, so really we just got so lucky).  We're Hilton HHonors members so we always stay at a Hilton brand hotel.  We've snagged some great deals and already have 4 free nights available to us!  Please don't think we're snobby Hilton loyalists- we have just found that their rewards program is great, and it partners with any airline rewards program so you can transfer points between programs.  We joined just before our cross-country move, and between those 5 nights and the short little stays we've done since then we have racked up some serious points.  We foresee that we'll stay in hotels as we travel back to Ohio to see family and friends, as well as for family vacations (duh :))  so we imagine that it will continue to pay off.

Even within Hilton brands, though, there is a lot of variation.  A lot.  We were pleased upon entering our hotel to find amazing attention to detail, gorgeous decorations, and beautiful architecture.  Seriously, this is the entrance to the bathroom:

We had tons of room to spread out in our corner room, especially since the bath and closet were down a short hallway away from the sleeping quarters.  Amazing.  I'd highly recommend this place for anyone traveling to Seattle!  Plus, you get warm cookies when you check in which obviously sweetens the deal :)
