We went to dinner to celebrate a full year as Portlanders. The all-vegan italian restaurant that we have been dying to try was closed for the day, so we had to "settle" for our favorite all-vegan restaurant- Blossoming Lotus.
I had good intentions- I wanted to get photos of all the yummy food but our hand-to-mouth action was faster than my shutter.
For an appetizer we ordered the white bean and pesto dip with crudite and grilled bread. Um, so good.
Entrees: Kraig got a house salad (best in town, for real) and vegan pizza marinara. Owen shared.
I ordered the vegetable fajitas with refried black eyed peas. Oh my. So delicious- and so much food. Luckily I got Kraig to take a photo of this.
Dessert: pomegranate "cheesecake". To die for.

Anyway, it was a wonderful meal celebrating the best year of our lives! The rest of the day was spent reminiscing and chatting about how thankful we are to be here, how much we love Portland, and how we are NOT the people to talk to if you want to hear anything negative about the city. Heh :)
