A day out

We chose the wrong day to try to go to the zoo.  

Second Tuesday, aka $2 Tuesday, is CRAZY busy.  Like, line all the way to the end of the parking lot, no parking spaces left, crazy busy.

We drove right on by and headed to the Rose Garden playground instead.  After a picnic, we let Owen play and explore for a little while.  He's becoming quite a climber!

It was a lovely day.  We're looking forward to a full week of days like that while Kraig is on staycation!
